Life Groups
Life Groups are the heart of our church.  Simply put, they give you the tools and support you need to integrate God's love and wisdom into any stage of life. This then opens up ways that you can live a life of joy, of peace, and of worship.

Life Groups are made up of a community of people who will help you find strength and encouragement. Friends who will share your burdens and help lift you up. Life Groups also give you the opportunity to serve as you humbly provide the wisdom of your experience to others.

Life Groups are small groups of usually less than 10 people. The larger the groups get, the harder it becomes to develop close relationships and bonds of trust with one another. When they get larger than that, it is usually time to split the core group into two smaller ones to increase the amount of benefit to each person. Your relationships with the others continues outside the Life Group but you give opportunity to grow in your spiritual walk and greatly improve the chances of others to fit in.

Below you will find a list of groups for each type of life group and an explanation of how each is focused and works. If you find there is not a Life Group in the area of focus you want to grow, consider discussing this with our pastoral staff.  It may just be a great idea.

Bible Study Life Group Chart

Bible Study Life Groups — These groups spend time in small Bible Studies but do not necessarily have an affiliation with any of the larger core minsitries. The key focus of the group is to spend time in God's word, encouraging others in the group to read and study the Bible. The members are working together to grow in faith and knowledge of God's word and to learn how to apply it to their lives daily. These groups still include small portions of time to build relationships, pray, eat and do projects and tasks which help the full body of the Church.
Task Life Group Chart

Task Life Groups — Task groups are focused on getting the job done. These are made up of small groups of people who see a need to be filled where able hands and warm hearts can get the job done so others don't have to. These groups are full of initiative and commitment to finishing the task at hand. They realize that their work will bring glory to God and the Church and they find satisfaction in knowing they are good and faithful servants. These groups still spend part of their time in prayer, bible study, building relationships and sharing food but the biggest portion of their time together is working to complete a task.
Meaningful Relationship Life Group Chart

Meaningful Relationship Life Groups — These groups are dedicated to building relationships with one another in areas where they share common bonds. These groups are committed to strengthening one another and making friendships that will help the church be stronger through them. These are not cliques but rather groups designed to show strength and unity.  If the group you want to be part of is full (has 10-12 people), don't feel left out. Create your own group. You can also be a member of more than one and in that way extend your core group of friends also. While relationships is key here, these groups still share food, tasks, prayer and Bible study in small amounts.
